Monkeys and Mamas

Bransford, The Fold

To all you pregnant ladies

Join Sophie for your prenatal yoga class to support you through your pregnancy journey.

Pregnancy Yoga is designed to support mums to be on their pregnancy journey and to help meet your changing physical and emotional needs. We address aches & ailments that have occurred in pregnancy so far, gently stretch and strengthen the whole body to keep on top of your ‘tool’ in labour, work on and learn the importance of breathing techniques and guide you through meditations for you to connect with your baby and learn how to relax on demand.

You can start class with us from 15 weeks if you have previously practiced yoga and from 16 weeks otherwise.

Held every Tuesday evening in the country escape Cart House Barn Studio at The Fold in Bransford.

BUT why choose my class?

After having my little boy in early 2021 and accumulating a few of my own ailments and issues in pregnancy, I fully understand the stresses and strains that pregnancy can have on the changing body.

I witnessed the true benefits that pregnancy yoga class can have and I became passionate to learn more and support prenatal women myself.

I have a beautiful, relaxing venue for you to feel calm and safe.

Our pricing packages are simple to manage and book as and when, knowing that life can get in the way sometimes.

It's the perfect opportunity for you to build friendships and support networks with women in the same stages as you.

We can't wait to meet you and support you on this wonderful journey to motherhood.

Pregnancy Bliss Stretch & Relax Yoga

Having a baby is such a magical time and pregnancy is when we should be celebrating the amazing process of growing a new life and little person inside of us. But often, because of the busyness and stressfulness of life, it can be a time of anxiety with little time to focus on looking after ourselves. Using a combination of yoga-inspired postures, breathing, relaxation and mindfulness techniques along with massage and equipment such as yoga balls, our PregnancyBliss pregnancy yoga classes are designed to foster that magical connection with the baby as well as strengthening the body, relaxing the mind for birth and alleviating some of the discomforts of pregnancy.

Each class is adapted to suit individual needs and the needs of the group.

We start each session checking in with how we are feeling physically, mentally and spiritually. A good practice to learn for supporting our bodies and minds in labor.

-  A gentle and guided body scan is next, allowing us to switch off our thinking brain and to connect with our baby and our body.

- A yoga flow follows focussing on soothing pregnancy ailments and in engaging our birthing muscles.

We discuss all things labour and birth with a different supportive focus each week. A beautiful deep guided relaxation finishes every session.

Hot drinks and homemade cakes to nurture our overall wellness as mums to be.

Taught positions and use of a yoga ball and stool to support labour and birth.

Pregnancy Yoga

Hello! I’m Zoe of MamaBabyBliss Worcester and I teach Pregancy Yoga, Hypnobirthing, Postnatal Yoga, Mum and Baby Yoga and Baby Massage classes in Worcestershire.

  • In My Pregnancy Yoga courses we practice gentle antenatal yoga stretches and movements to help prepare you for birth and also increase comfort during pregnancy, preventing or relieving common pregnancy ailments.

  • Take a deeper look into various pregnancy and birth topics such as pelvic floor exercises, using a yoga ball, birth environment and breathing techniques to use in labour.

  • Each class ends with a guided relaxation. A chance for you to deeply relax and restore your energy levels.

  • Classes are very relaxed and friendly; a great chance to meet other mums. We start each session 'checking in' with each other - this is a lovely time to talk and connect. There is also a WhatsApp group set up for each group of mums to stay in contact, often making lasting friendships.

  • Detailed handouts are provided and on going support up to you due date and beyond

Hypnobirthing Antenatal Courses

I also teach hypnobirthing courses which are the perfect accompaniment to Pregnancy Yoga to help you prepare fully for the birth of your baby. As our minds and bodies are deeply connected; your state of mind will influence how your body goes through labour and likewise, whatever your body is doing impacts on how your mind behaves. This is why preparing both your body and your mind for the birth of your baby works so well.

If you’re having a baby in Worcestershire, get in touch to find out how I can help. I can’t wait to support you through this incredible time.
