Our all inclusive Active Antenatal™ method is a ground breaking, effective and all encompassing pregnancy class helping you to learn your antenatal education and active birth techniques in a truly effective way – anchored to your breath, your body and your movement – exactly where you will need it on your baby’s birthing day.
Classes support you on your journey as your baby grows with powerful, practical antenatal education, nourishing support and of course laughter too!
Daisy Birthing® will help you stay active in pregnancy, ease those pregnancy symptoms and prepare you for a confident and calmer birth!
Classes can be started from 14 weeks of pregnancy and are taught over a six-week term.
Each class will deliver:
· Traditional antenatal education
· Active birth awareness
· An easy way to understand medical induction and interventions
· Flowing movement sequences anchored to your body and breath
· Breathing techniques for every stage of labour
· Relaxation techniques
· Peer-to-peer support in a women only class
Women can do as many terms as they wish until baby is born.
Couples Workshops
4 hour This is Birth; Active Birth workshops for couples. Group workshops (spaces are limited so book early!) or private workshops at a time to suit you, in your own home.
We are supportive of all birth choices.

Becoming Families is a local charity renown for providing exceptional pregnancy and postnatal education and wellbeing support services. We are committed to improving the physical and emotional lives of local families, from pregnancy and beyond with focus on the first 1,001 days.

Own Your Birth Drop In Antenatal Sessions
Worcester
Own Your Birth drop in Antenatal Sessions are 45 minute classes based around coping techniques for labour and early parenting for first time parents or a refresher session for those who already have a little one or two.
The sessions are run by Stand & Deliver member Anne Bradshaw, who holds 25 years of experience in this field. Sessions will include simple coping techniques for labour, birth from the baby’s point of view and a chance to talk to other parents about their experiences.
The sessions are full of fun whilst being very practical!

The Village Midwife

Expecting a baby? Interested in joining an antenatal course?
I am an experienced midwife teaching the village midwife. I cover all aspects of labour and birth, creating a plan for all eventualities. Caring for your new baby and your transition into parenthood.
You get up to date information and guidance in a course handbook containing everything you need to know! You will meet other parents expecting their babies at a similar time. You also get my contact details for individual guidance and support for the rest of your pregnancy and those important early days and weeks!!
I offer one to one antenatal and postnatal support for individual birth planning and postnatal support with babycare, feeding, transitioning to parenthood.
